Vesta Box

Vesta box

“I bought this little box at a jumble sale for a farthing! The dog on the top has never had a nose while I’ve had him and it’s nearly 60 years since…It was attracted by the scenes around the sides and the hat and leaves on the top. I used it to keep buttons in it. It’s been suggested to me that it’s German and a “vesta box” as inside the lid is serrated. It’s travelled up and down the country with me…my little treasure.”
