G45b Gun Camera
“This camera belonged to my dad. He used to be an electrician and picked it up then. I did some research and found out that it dates back to World War II. It would have been fitted on a Fighter Command aircraft (Spitfires and Hurricanes) as a standard. It was controlled by an electrical switch operated by the gun-firing pneumatic system. The camera was used to film pilots’ shutdowns on this cassette.”
