Geisha Doll

“Hakata Ningyou: “Hakata” is the old name for the city Fukuota from where she was made. Ningyou means “doll.” Such dolls were made in Japan from the 17th century. It was a gift from a Japanese visitor, Dr Kazuhiko Yamamoto.”
