Glowing Embers Art Exhibition

Smart Gallery artist in residence Helen Peyton was commissioned by Space2 to work with St Nicolas and Wykebeck primary schools to celebrate Gipton Fire Station. Although initially directed to work with the talented and gifted, Helen decided to work with the whole schools. Over 800 children created monoprint and relief prints resulting in over 3000 artworks that were put into the Old Workshop Gallery, Space2, at the newly refurbished Gipton Fire Station.
