Washed up on a beach in Devon, this bottle was made for the Korean market in Dublin and then has travelled to England. How we don’t know, was it throw overboard by a passing ship on its way into Plymouth or has it travelled all the way from Seoul on the tides?

This 12 colour reduction linocut is Helen Peyton‘s first response to the artefacts at Smart Gallery. Helen is artist in residence for the project and works primarily in lino to produce very considered and beautiful artwork.
