Ping’s Costume From The Opera “Turandot”

Ping’s Costume from the Opera “Turandot”

Robbie Michelson, one student at Craven College on 2009/10 Fashion and Clothing Course made this costume in response to the Theatrical Costume Project.

Joan Murray, tutor, loved it so much she bought it to wear to various parties and events.

“The pockets of faces are supposed to be the severed heads of the suitors that failed to impress “Turandot” but somehow it is not gruesome, just amazing!”
